                                                       How is Your Mother ?

The story is named: How is Your Mother?

Humphrey Partridge moved to the small village three years ago. He appeared that he was so busy to look after his sick mother and didn’t have any time to make communication with others. So people who around him believed he lived for his mother. Anyway, none one had seen his mother.

One day, a local postman broke a window into his house to save his mother because of smoking, when he came home from his work which he just had quitted and going to move Canada with his winning money from a competition. However, there was not an old lady in the house. People in the village said Mr Partridge killed his mother getting her money to live Canada.  When police involved, he said he had been adopted and hadn’t seen his mother since he was six month. He wanted to be alone, so invented his mother for an excuse. Police couldn’t find any evidences to accuse Mr Partridge killed his mother. The news was published on the newspaper.

A few days later, Mr Partridge was shocked that an old woman with a painted face appeared in front of him, and called herself a mother of Mr Partridge. Mr Partridge didn’t believe and had an argument with her. Suddenly, an old woman who was Mr Partridge’s mother died in front of him. Mr Partridge surrendered himself to the police. The police gave him freedom, because they thought he had a little joke with them.

                                                        Channel Nine News

A part of Australia's biggest  TV channel, the Nine Entertainment Group, is facing a serious financial situation, and could go into receivership.

A rift has emerged between the major hedge funds, and a $3.2 billion debt has to be paid by the Nine network, so its fate is in the lenders’ hands. There was  a meeting today between the Nine network and the lenders to try to resolve the impasse. There are still some obstacles between senior leaders. Some seek a compromise and some are aggressive to keep their opinion.

All the  local stars' salaries would come under the microscope, and The Voice, 60 Minutes and Big Brother also would come under scrutiny. For instance, The Voice cost $30 million to run, including $1 million each for four judges.

Aqua

                          A   VALUABLE   EXCURSION

Last Thursday was a very interesting day for our class. It was a very nice day we had this wet summer. Most of students from our class and our teachers went to Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour to experience AQUA SHOW.

Our students and teachers met at Kogarah Station around 9:00am, took a train to Town Hall Station, than walked to Darling Harbour. They must have enjoyed it very much.I didn't join them when I went to Darling Harbour, because I had something to do in the town early morning.

I was late and had missed my teachers and classmate when I arrived in the Maritime Museum. I had to join other classes. I walk around and saw a lot of pictures, copies and aboriginal posts when we was waiting for next show. Some pictures showed a old Sydney and how the people set up the museum. Some copies told us about Australian history. Each aboriginal post had its own meaning which is a personal or tribal stories.

About 11:00am we went to inside  to watch AQUA SHOW. It is a interactive show. Firstly everybody held a water drop shaped blue light  from the Maritime Museum, it represented a drop of water. We stranded in the centre with the 360 degrees colour screen around us and listened to the narration in English and French. The hunger waves were coming up from the screen when narrator asked us to move our hands with the blue light, it was a spectacular. I felt that I am a drop of water in the ocean. We are many drops, composed giant waves and splashes to make the ocean became a sensational sea.

The whole show took about 20 minutes. It gave me some general knowledge which I never know before. Firstly the human body is made up of 70% water. Secondly about a billion people in the world do not have access to water. Lastly every 20 seconds, a child dies because they do not have access to safe drinking water.

The blue light has given me the concept for to save water for the planet. if everybody save a drop of water, it will make a lots different in the world. It will save many children's life. It will help some counties to have access to water.

I had met my teachers and classmate when I walked out from show room. We had a chat about AQUA SHOW. We all leaned something from different angle. Than we walked out together from the Maritime Museum. Some teachers and students went to Darling Harbour to have a lunch, Some students went to the town to have shopping. I didn't go with them, because I still got something to do in the town.

It is a valuable day to me.
